Taking care of your RV Exterior can save you thousands of dollars to repair damage caused over time by road grime and weather. If you allow bugs, dirt, black streaks, and grime stay on your rv exterior too long, it can be very hard to clean it off and it can cause serious damage.
We have over 25 years of experience cleaning and caring for RV exteriors. We're sharing a few tips that can help you protect the value of your RV by taking good care of your RV exterior.
Tip #1
Wash the exterior at least once a month when not in covered storage. Yes we know! Washing your RV is not a small undertaking, but if you buy the right equipment and products, it'll take a lot less time.
Tip #2
Wax the exterior of your RV at least two times a year. And yep we know! Waxing takes a lot of elbow grease! But just like the washing process, if you use the right equipment and products, it can cut the time in half.
*For washing and waxing: Be sure to read your RV manufacturers instructions for exterior maintenance and use their recommended products and process.
Tip #3
As you wash and wax your RV exterior, take the time to carefully inspect the seams and the sealants for cracking, leaking, or other damage. This is a lot easier to do when the area has just been cleaned.
